Preterite and Imperfect Challenge

Question

Challenge yourself by seeing if you can use the preterite tense 5 times and the imperfect tense 10 times by telling a story that has happened only ONCE in your life! If you know the difference between the two, it will be very easy to use the preterite, but you will have to be creative with the use of the imperfect!

Disculpeme si hay muchas errores en este. Pero es una opportunidad para practicar y eso es lo que necesito.

Cuando era joven, vivía en un rancho en Colorado. Era durante los años de los 40's y 50's, y el sitio fue lejos en los montañas. No teníamos electricidad o agua corriente y hicimos nuestros tareas casi todo por mano sin la ayuda de ningn maquinaria. Una de mis tareas fue ir para recoger las vacas de leche cada día y llevarlas a casa. Por lo general, montaba un caballo cuando hizo esta tarea. Pero, a veces, cuando mis dos amigos, hermanos que vivieron en el rancho adjayente solía a visitarme, caminamos juntos. A menudo, hicimos algunas cosas chico loco. Ellos tuvieron una arma BB, pero nunca tuvieron los BBs. Por eso, hicieron municiones de cera de abejas - bolas semejante de BBs. Pues una vez, cuando caminabamos, encontramos un enorme nido de avispas negro. Era un buen blanco y desde una distancia seguro, empezamos a tirar nuestros BBs de acero contra él.
Pero nada mucho sucedido. Unos avispas salieron y estuvieron volando cerca de el nido, pero no nos atacaron. Al fin, tuvímos a salir el sitio porque estuve tan tarde. El hermano menor, sin ni una palabra a mi o su hermano, recogió un palo como el tamaño de un batte de béisbol, caminó hasta el nido y lo rompió Las consequencias fueron horrible. Ahora, más que sesenta años después, todavía las recuerdo muy bien.

¡Cuando fui a México, bebía las piña coladas, hablaba español, y manejé por primera vez por el jet ski y un bugee! Cuando estaba en el aeropuerto esperaba para el vuelo, mi familia y yo fuimos al el club de los almirantes; allí comía galletas y muchas manzanas y cantaba a toda la gente. ¡Cuando el vuelo llegó, miraba una película que se llama Step Brothers mienstras estuvo en el aire, y fue comico! Y entonces, el vuelo aterrizó, y una limusina nos manejó al hotel, que se llama the Hilton donde nosotros quedábamos allí por tres tiempos. Comía arroz con pollo en la playa, veía la gente sin ropa porque la mayoría de las playas en las islas cerca México (donde crecí) son ambos sin ropa y con ropa. (Fui a la playa con ropa, pero todavía puede ver la gente sin la ropa). ¡Fue muy divertido para visitar México, practicaba mi español, y viajaba más en el mundo!
