Are there issues with the flashcard section?

I was recently editing my set of noun flash cards and discovered there were multiple instances of each word. So, I proceeded to remove them only to receive a message telling me that I was over the word pair limit(100) Before editing, the set had 80 word pairs and I had done nothing but remove word pairs.

Also, when I was going through my flash card set for practice it showed that I had 155 word pairs. I quit at about 60/155, out of sheer frustration in seeing all of the same words repeatedly.

I fear that the data may be corrupted or something equally annoying. Does anyone have any ideas on the matter?

It has happened to me quite a few times....sometimes though, when I make a new set, the words are not repeated. It's slightly weird...and annoying as well, so I understand what you're going through. The data might be corrupted, although I'm not an IT expert so you'll probably have to PM Kevin or simply start over.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

There is another problem with the Flashcards. And, sometimes you can't hear the words in the Listen portion of the Flashcards.

There is nothing to do but guess, and of course that affects one's score. If it's a glitch, then let's fix it. The way it is is annoying.

In part, this issue is know to be caused by leading or trailing blank or tab characters, or other odd symbol characters. Ensure you avoid those conditions. - pesta, Dec 23, 2010
By the way, I enjoy your sentence, "The way it is is annoying" - grammatically perfect, but two consecutive occurrences of "is" :) - pesta, Dec 23, 2010

I don't know, but I have 98 for my noun set. rofl So, maybe I just need to start over. Thanks.

That´s strange because the limit is 80. I had them freeze on me, so I understand how you feel.

It says, 'Please add at least 5 flashcards and no more than 100.' - pesta, Dec 23, 2010
... but sets of more than about 30 usually creates more fatigue than learning. - pesta, Dec 23, 2010
