Please look at the changes I made on your question and use this example when you ask more questions. You have to be mindful that there are folks here who are trying to learn English. - Echoline, Dec 22, 2010

To the expression: "Nos vemos" which is used to mean that we will see each other at some future time, you can also add when as in:

Nos vemos mañana. Roughly translated "See ya tomorrow" ( Or we will see each other tomorrow.)

Nos vemos el martes. Roughly translated "See ya Tuesday" ( Or we will see each other on Tuesday.)

OK. So I did it again. Why is it that the most interesting questions are old ones? I just keep on forgetting to look! - Daniela2041, May 3, 2015

I agree with "qfreed". I would like to add that it is used just as the expression, "hasta luego" (see you later).

Here's your opportunity to use the Translation tab. Simply click on it, type in "nos vemos" and your answer will come up. It's a very handy tool, especially for very easy translations.

It comes back:

We
We see us
We see ourselves

Not really very useful. It could be the last one, depending on the context, but it's more likely to mean we meet or we see each other.

Sometimes "nosotros" conjugated verbs are not just we Nos Vemos Nos is the reflexive (ourselves) Vemos (we see) We see ourselves/one another

the "later/again" isnt mentioned because it isn't required

This phrase does not work so well in the translator - so try som lateral thinking.

If that is no help ask again.

como una despedida

Literally, it is translated as "We see each other", but is used to mean "I'll see you later". It means "See you"
