Toni Braxton lyrics - Un-break my heart

How could I translate into Spanish un-break and un-cry?

I don't think there are any terms such as Un-break and Un-cry; they are just made up for this song. In Spanish I would say "Repón mi corazón y seca mis lágrimas."

There are a lot of lyrics that are not real words.

On the topic of broken hearts, Achy Breaky Heart, for example.

Since unbreak and uncry are made up English terms, you might—might—be able to say something like desromper and desllorar. I don't know how stupid that would sound, though. In English it is quite acceptable to add un- in front of a verb that it is not usually used with to mean "to do the opposite of whatever."

However, I like Julian's suggestion much better. - webdunce, Dec 22, 2010
