What does "grooming" mean?
Tengo en un problema con el término grooming en esta frase:
"Her grooming bill last year was over €250.000 .Her live is expensive."
En vuestro diccionario veo que podría equivaler a "aseo personal".
Pero en la wiki me relaciona la palabra grooming con el acoso a los menores en internet. Gracias.

En cuanto a la wiki, Grooming no se usa en este sentido al menos en los Estados Unidos. Acoso sería bullying . Alguien que acosa en un bully. Con razón te confundió
The term 'grooming" is used when discussing sexual abuse of children, and is used in the context of "preparing" a child for molestation...buying them gifts, "innocently" caressing them, etc.... all to build trust in order to abuse them in the future. Very sick...but wanted to explain what that definition is referring to.

In the sense of internet grooming it is used in the sense 'to prepare'. Adults of paedeophilic persuasion enter into dialogue with children, often pretending to be children themselves, with the intention of befriending them and later meeting them in person with sexual intent...

In fact, I have never heard of it being used in reference to abusing children until today.
But, "to groom" is general and can be used to mean to prepare someone for any specific purpose.

En hecho, nunca la he oído usado para referir al acoso a menores hasta ahora.
Pero, el verbo "to groom" es general en sentido y puede ser usado para referir al preparar a agluien para algún objetivo.

From this you can see the roots of its two uses, 'to prepare...' and the personal maintenance thing.
I'd not relate grooming to the buying of clothes but if you think of the cost of high-end cosmetics, treatments and haircuts, $250,000 is easily achievable...

Gracias a todos por la aclaración que me habeis hecho.Ya tengo claro que son los gastos que hace una persona en acicalarse,atusarse y ponerse guapa ,pero grooming es un palabra curiosa, con varios significados completamente distintos y equívocos para mí. Si busco "dog grooming" me salen cosas de este tipo:

Grooming services at Maria's include washing, clipping, nail trimming and other basic care."(love and care with pets).
Y si busco "child grooming" me salen definiciones de este tipo: "Child grooming involves psychological manipulation in the form of positive reinforcement and foot-in-the-door tactics, using activities that are typically legal but later lead to illegal activities. This is done to gain the child's trust as well as the trust of those responsible for the child's well-being. Additionally, a trusting relationship with the family means the child's parents are less likely to believe potential accusations"
