I can't shake the feeling

I can't shake the feeling

Can anyone think of an equivalent of "I can't shake the feeling" in Spanish?

As in: "I can't shake the feeling that he's not who he says he is".

I'll add it to the phrasebook if we find a good one equivalent/translation.

No puedo evitar (tener) la sensación de que él no es quien dice ser. I would say it with "tener".

Simply replacing "evitaar" by "tener" makes (for me) a very odd sentence. - samdie, Dec 21, 2010
"no puedo que tener ...", perhaps? - samdie, Dec 21, 2010
Nope, that's really odd - Dakie, Dec 21, 2010
I didn't mean that you can replace "evitar" by "tener" but that you can say or not "tener", personally I would say both but not only the first. - Dakie, Dec 21, 2010
Excuse my english, sometimes I have problems with the use of "something but somethat" - Dakie, Dec 21, 2010
Thus, using "tener" the whole sentence would be ... ? - samdie, Dec 21, 2010
