Does anyone here have a spanish blog

well, one of my friends started a blog and we are both in need of improvement, despite years of spanish classes since high school. she is studying abroad. that isnt an option for me at the moment due to my horrible work ethic in school and devastating GPA, however, I would like to improve my spanish as well. so i am going to start one too. I doubt it will stay afloat but hey, it cant hurt to try! smile I'll post it once I actually set it up. Any advice or suggestions of things to write about other than an introduction? Keep it relatively simple. lol Does anyone else here have a blog of a similar nature? I wanna see it!! :]

My last Spanish class has come to a close with this semester. I dont have any other electives to spend on Spanish classes. So Ill be looking to you good people for advice on my grammar and using the activities on this website (which are surprisingly addictive btw O.O)

I´ve recently started up a spanish focused blog too!

When it comes to blogging about spanish, I think one big thing can really help you make it interesting! It´s not just about language. It´s about culture! Posting recipes, videos of traditional dances, movies clips, news paper articles, songs, ect. Whatever interests you in english, find it in spanish and post about it! That way you can practice your spanish, share culture, and keep it from being dry grammar exercises all the time.

As a person who´s been out of class for awhile, I can tell you, the best way to hold onto your spanish and keep improving is to make it a part of your life. A blog, I think, is an excellent way to do that!

Good luck! When you´ve got your blog set up, do post it! I´d like to come visit!

LOL

I think that is a wonderful idea :D

I used to write poetry (it has been a while)... I have to say it does help out a lot.

You know, looking up some Spanish podcasts would help out too...

Good luck with your blog.
