The word "turistear" is not in your SpanishDict's dictionary but it does here
You only have "hacer turismo" however "turistear" is more natural in Mexican dialect.

Why don't you add it to the Phrasebook? Indicate "México" in your entry.
Estoy de acuerdo contigo...hay muchas palabras que son comunes en el español de las Américas que no salen en el diccionario.
Es porque 'turistear' no es una palabra española, según el diccionario de la Real Academia Española. Es una palabra spanglish, como lonche, carro, parquear, etc. No digo que es incorrecta. Si la gente la usa es una palabra, pero es la razón que no está en el diccionario.
It's because 'turistear' is not a Spanish word, according to the the D R A E. It's a Spanglish work, like lonche, carro, parquear, etc. I'm not saying it's incorrect. If the people use it it's a word, but that's the reason it's not in the dictionary.
