Brown nose
What would be the Spanish equivalent for the English idiom 'brown noser' which means '{edit} kisser' - thus the brown on the nose? Someone who shamelessly tries to impress the boss with flattery versus merit. I know these type of folks exist in Spanish -speaking countries . . . they're everywhere.

Here's a good one for you: chupamedias .
I'm sure that it depends a lot on which country you happen to be in, but I have seen a few of these used to convey a similar meaning:
adulador, adulón, alcahuete, arrastrado, franelero, lambón, llunco, sobón, limpia polvo, cobista, chaquetero, lisonjero, halagador
You could check out the Phrasebook - maybe search 'suck up' or something like that - un/una pelota
barbero lambiscón
