OK, as Nancy has said the translation engines have translated this as ¿Cuál es el tiempo en Nueva York?, which is incorrect, the true translation is:

¿Qué hora es en Nueva York?

Have you tried the translator on this website? And by saying, 'I need help immediately.', I don't think you'll get the type of response that you require. It's a very bold...and slightly rude title.

...although I'm sure that your intention wasn't to come across as rude. :) - Seb79, Dec 20, 2010

"tiempo" can be used to translate time in certain contexts but not when speaking of time as measured by clocks. It would be appropriate for translating "It was the best of times and the worst of times."

Sorry Nancy, this is not correct. Tiempo, used this way, would mean "weather". - Gekkosan, Dec 20, 2010
This is the way all 3 Spanishdict translation engines translate it --- - NancyGrace, Dec 20, 2010
