Because you are a female you would say "Estoy emocionada."

The problem with your post is that there is insufficient information to give a definitive answer. Excited has various meanings and without context it is difficult to quantify, however, here are a few examples with different meanings.

Expressed by an adult - Entusiasmado

Expressed by a child - Exitado, alborotado

Expressed by a voice - Exitado, Exitación

I'm very excited about the new house - La nueva casa me hace mucha ilusión o estoy muy ilusionado o entusiasmado con la nueva casa

Don't get excited, I only said she might come - ítranquilízate! solo dije que puede de venga

To get excited - Excitarse, ponerse nervioso, alborotarse, acalorarse.
