La diligencia iba que volaba
La diligencia iba que volaba. The speed was going fast. Or is it diligence? I think I learned once that IR que volar is the go fast. Gracias.

The stagecoach was going so fast that it was flying.
"La diligencia iba que volaba" is probably just lazy Spanish. The gramatically-correct way is "La diligencia iba como que volaba "
I'd simply write: The stagecoach was (nearly) flying!
Well I doubt it's lazy Spanish from this literary guy I'm reading. Angelina by Rafael Delgado (1919 I think it was written) anyone read it? Maybe just oddly worded but he is supposedly from Mexico.
