"I go to sleep."
Is it "Me voy a dormir." or "Yo ir a dormir." or "Yo voy a dormir."? If you know, please tell me why which one is right. Thanks!

"I go to sleep."
Unless you are speaking 17th century English, this is not a statement about what you are going to do but, rather, about what you habitually do and, thus, should be followed by something like "at 10:00 on weekdays."
"Me voy a dormir."=I'm going to go to sleep/bed. "Estoy a punto de dormirme."=I'm about to fall asleep/I'm falling asleep.
me voy a dormir means I am going to go to sleep.
This statemente is not correct: it means " I am going to bed"
The first is right, you can also say Yo me voy a dormir but it sounds a bit odd. I usually say Ya me voy a dormir, but if your example is about the time or the place or something like that, the first is right.
Me voy a dormir en la calle. haha Me voy a dormir a las once.
The first one me voy a dormir means I am going to go to sleep.
I would say Yo voy a accostarme. it means "I'm going to put myself to sleep." Yo voy a dormir means "I'm going to go sleep" its kinda awkward.
Why "Me voy a dormir?" Couldn't "I go to sleep." be "Yo voy (I go) dormir. (to sleep)"?
Wouldn't "Voy dormir." be "I go to sleep."? Since Voy means 'I go", and dormir means "to sleep"?
