I'm going to Madrid this summer.I can't wait to talk to the people. I'm a little shy, because I'm wondering what they think of a gringo trying to talk to them in their language. Do they make fun of you or really try to help.

Just like you will find helpful and kind people, you may find people who might make fun of you but the fact that you are there and that you are trying will instill respect in most.
