"be a good boy and take care of the house"
It is my habit to tell my dog to "be a good boy and take care of the house" when I leave for work each day. I have said this for the last few years and would like to start saying it in Spanish. He expects for me to say these words as I leave and I do not worry that he will be upset by the change in words as long as I use the correct tone and intonation. Still, I would like to be able to say "be a good boy and take care of the house" correctly in Spanish.

Hi RC03150, and welcome to the forum.
You could say: "Sé un chico bueno y cuida la casa."
