In the south of Spain, it is a nasty slang for thief, from the language of the gypsies.

In Chile means cunning, from Quechua.

In Bolivia and Chile is a mussel, but in slang refers to the vulva. Also from Quechua.

In case of the 1st meaning -- istn't it spelled with "rr" by any chance? - bomberapolaca, Dec 18, 2010
No. That would be a different word (jet or stream) - lazarus1907, Dec 18, 2010
It seems that both ways are acceptable except the one with double rr is typical of Argentina: http://www.wordreference.com/es/en/translation.asp?spen=chorro - bomberapolaca, Dec 19, 2010

Maybe you mean "churro" which means, except for "a joint," also "gorgeous"?
