Anybody with OS X SnowLeopard got Skype?

I downloaded Skype on Thursday but deleted it on Friday when I had some unrelated problems. Now I have downloaded it again but I can't find it to install it. I need advice.

I'm not familiar with Mac computers, but if they are analogous to PC's, are you using a browser that has its own download manager? If so, you need to find the default location for where the manager stores its downloaded files. It may be a different folder from where your default OS download manager usually stores downloaded files. Does the Mac OS have search engines for finding files? Return to the download site and get the exact name of the downloaded file and search your hard drive for the file. (usually an executable .exe file, but it may be a compressed file .rar, .zip, etc.)

Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Skype?

The download windo didn't give a choice betw 32 - 64. I took what I was given :) I will find the name and return to my search engine. Thanks! - Sabor, Dec 18, 2010
