I am confused about the word "languidecer" in the context of the book I am reading. The book is called "Réquiem Por un Campesino Español," and I know that it says that it means "to flag," butI am still confused what that means. The sentence is: "Mosén Millán, cuando vio que la conversación languidecía, se puso a hablar contra las supersticiones."
