How do you write "nights" in Spanish?

I would like to say: They are going to Spanish class on Monday and Wednesday nights.
Van a la clase de español el lunes y el miércoles por la noche.
Or is "por las noches" more accurate?

Por la noche is perfect,,,however, what time would that be for you? it often depends....

Class starts 6:00PM and goes till 8:00PM. I think Spanish evenings end at 7:00PM so I chose noche. Is tarde proper? - bandit51jd, Dec 17, 2010
