I have just found this "12-hour clock"?

Does it mean "las doce en punto"? I mean, twelve o'clock.

Thank you.

A 12-hour clock is a clock that counts the hours up to 12 rather than 24. It is not the time.

Really?. But all -- clocks have 12 hours.

All analog clocks have 12 hours.

But most digital clocks display the hour of the day in 24 hour format:

In the military, science, and any other use that requires brevity and accuracy, the 24 hour clock is used. With the 24 hour clock 10:00 PM would would be 2200, and would be said as "twenty-two hundred" or "twenty-two hundred hours." That way there is no confusion as to whether you are talking about 10:00 in the morning or the evening.

I will add that this is not common in everyday life. - happyquilter, May 19, 2016
I will also add that in the US, even most digital clocks only go up to 12:00, then repeat for PM. - happyquilter, May 19, 2016

Son las doce, could mean 12am or 12pm. Es medio día is correct. - EleRo, May 19, 2016
