Question

I am not sure. When we are talking about computers and I want to give an order. For example, this one:

Click the button

Click on the button.

Are they all right?. Thank you.

Answer 1

Click Right >"Click Here"

I can't get the editor to work correctly, so try to imagine text boxes surround "Click Here"

The first example, a simple "Click Here" button.

The second example, a "Click Here" button with the instructive text to the left of the button. The instruction reads "Click right"

The third example, a "Click Here" button with the instructive text to the right of the button. The instruction reads "Click Left".

This still does not seem natural. I'd like to see the screen if possible. Please let me know if I am not understanding your question.

Mouse instructions are usually "click" or "right click".

Well, I am trying to give the instructions to another person. - nila45, Dec 17, 2010

Although I have accepted your answer, I would like to know if "click right" is the same as "click on the right". - nila45, Dec 17, 2010

Most instructions in the US say "right click", "click", or maybe "left click". :) - 0066c384, Dec 17, 2010

Are "right click" and "left click" for the mouse functions?. - nila45, Dec 17, 2010

"Left click" is usally just "click", since most click instructions use the left button. :) - 0066c384, Dec 17, 2010

"Right click" is a the mouse instruction. This is just for the US. I don't know about other countries. - 0066c384, Dec 17, 2010

Answer 5

Is "click on the right" the same as "click right", dogwood?

You could say "click the button on the right" if you wanted to make it very clear. - lorenzo9, Dec 17, 2010

Answer 6

Well, "right click" and "left click" when we are talking about the mouse functions.

"Click the button" and "click here" is when we are pointing to a button in the screen. Is that it?

Then, "click on the right" and "click on the left" when we are pointing to the right or to the left in the screen is not correct.

"Click on the right" is used if the point to be clicked is to the right of the instructive text. :) - 0066c384, Dec 17, 2010

I would give you an example, but I can't get the text boxes to work on the editor. - 0066c384, Dec 17, 2010
