im trying to learn to speak chilian spanish, is that wat this is teaching me??

Well, for one thing I don't think there is "chilian spanish". For another thing, you just need to learn how to speak spanish in general and then work on the regional differences later.

Would people from chile understand this tipe of Spanish?

In your profile it doesn't say where you are from. But assuming you are from the United States, and were speaking normally, and not in some kind of guetto slang, do you think they would understand you in the UK? Or in Australia? It's the same with Spanish - bill1111, Dec 17, 2010

It's not going to teach you Chilean slang, idioms, the voseo, etc., but Spanish is the language spoken there and they would understand you if you learned Castilian Spanish, for example. We have Chilean members so if you wish to ask them about Chilean dialects, idioms, etc. then post your questions.
