Phrase translation update

Hi,i just asked about a phrase to be translated into english. The phrase is written on a very nice knife blade that is very old. It has waves and animals engraved on the blade with that phrase written above the waves. The only translation that makes little sense to me is,"only the dry sea i swim in the waves".it says on my computer that spanish is detected in the phrase or verse. I know nothing about other cultures. But does this make sense to anyone or can anyone come up with a diffirent translation to this verse?"Solo que la mar se seque no me banare en sus o las".on the other side of the blade it says"Oaxaca"it has a rabbit a duck and like bushes engraved on this side. Waves are engraved on opposite side with the phrase above that. The end of the handle has an eagle protruding out of the bottom. Pretty detailed knife. Good craftsmanship. Thanks for any help though, Auto24

Only if the sea dries I won't swim(I am pretty sure that is swim but It can also be wash)on it's waves.

Is in or on it's waves?
