Welcome to the forum, Sheila.
This should read: ¿Cuántos años tienes?
You can look up each individual word in the dictionary (at the top of this page) and you will see the meaning of the sentence.
In fact, if you look up "año" in the dictionary you will see this exact sentence as an example.
