You can use 'es tiempo de' when you refer to a long period of time (as in X-mas, Autumn, etc..) but when you talk about 'now', 'this very moment..', it's always: 'Es hora de..' or 'Ha llegado la hora de..' - bill1111, Dec 15, 2010

Pretty much the same in Spanish I think.. It would make more sense to say: 'No necesito afeitarme la cabeza para estar a la moda, ¿no?' (I know it looks very similar, but the intonation would be very different). - bill1111, Dec 15, 2010

'techo' means 'ceiling'. It fits the sentence too, but the actual word for 'roof' is 'tejado'. So.. you can say either 'ruidos en el techo' or 'ruidos en el tejado' ('del techo' could work if you add 'provenientes del techo', or 'que venían del techo') - bill1111, Dec 15, 2010

Darn, I forgot to check the last part of the sentence before.. Instead of 'he visto', it should be 'Si no lo hubiera/hubiese visto (..), nunca lo habría creído' . 'nunca lo hubiera creído' is just as good. - bill1111, Dec 15, 2010

This sounds as if the other person had just told her that, and the speaker is merely repeating it as a question. You can say: '¿Dejó a su..', although it would be more natural to say '¿Así que dejó a su..' (kind of like saying 'So she left..?') - bill1111, Dec 15, 2010

In this context 'te oí decir' sounds strange. You would usually say in the context of eavesdropping (I heard you say..), rather than to confirm that you heard something correctly. I would say: '¿Has dicho que vamos hoy al parque?' - bill1111, Dec 15, 2010
