No you do not need to include the article la before cocina. You are using a possessive pronoun - our kitchen = nuestra cocina

not in this case. If you were talking about the kitchen in particular you would say la cocina. "puede encontrar el horno de microondas en la cocina" if you want to say in our kitchen or their kitchen, etc you don't need the article.
