Does an adjective go before the noun or afet. For example, "la casa blanca" or "la blanca casa"?

Both. Sometimes it makes a big difference in the meaning of the phrase. If you're emphasizing the noun, the noun goes first. If you're emphasizing the adjective, the adjective goes first.

El hombre grande = the big man
El gran hombre = the great man

Hi Zimmy, welcome to the Forum. There are times that adjectives go before the noun, an example that springs to my mind is 'la blanca nieve' or 'una buena pelicula'. Also some are shortened when they precede a noun - you say 'un buen libro' (not bueno). Just to mention a few...

Zimmyfan good question!! u say noun first... so "la blanca casa" or "mi pelo rubilo" ..My hair is blond
