Puedo Ir al bano???
May i use the restroom? i think not! spanish teachers always make you ask that in spanish so for those who dont know here it is! what about you? any crazy experiences with spanish teachers?

Bear in mind that Spanish teachers have to work with students who have a very, very small vocabulary. ¿Puedo ir al baño? is a perfectly good question that would be understood anywhere in the world. It's as grammatically incorrect as "Can I go to the bathroom?" It's incorrect in English, but everyone says it.
I did have one Spanish teacher who was a native Spanish speaker, as well as being a retired marine automatic weapons expert. He was a character. One girl in our class kept asking, "Why?". One day he finally lost it. "This is a language! There is no why! That's just the way they say it!".
It was an epiphany for me, one of the clearest, most intelligent things I'd ever heard a teacher say. Since that day I've never been overly concerned with why when it comes to languages. If that's the way they say it, that's just the way they say it.
