Here is how to find the answer.

1) Find the infinitive of the verb

2) Go to the "More" dropdown and choose "Conjugation"

3) Type in the verb

4) The Imperative (command) forms are in the lower right hand corner.

Good luck, and welcome to SD!

Andrea, there is a good video lesson on formal commands here. It takes about 10 minutes to watch. It may be helpful for you.

Verbs ending in -a, like "hablar" form the subjunctive with -e: "hable". Verbs ending in -e and -i, like "leer" or "vivir", form the subjunctive with -a: "lea", "viva". These forms are used, among other things, for polite commands or requests.

The plain commands are in indicative, and the forms keep the original vowel: "habla", "lee", "vive".
