What is vos form, how does it differ from usted form?
When is it used?

usted is more used in Spain and I think in Mexico too (not sure).
"usted(s)" is used throughout the Spanish speaking world for formal address. The circumstances in which one uses formal (instead of familiar) address vary from one country/region to another but all Spanish speaking societies make the formal/informal distinction.
"vos" is used as an alternative (to "tú" [singular only]) in some countries and "vosotros" is used for the plural familiar in (much of) Spain, only.
It is the plural of Tu form, when you are addressing more than one person in the familiar form whereas Usted is when you are addressing someone that you shouldn't be too familiar with like when you are in a job interview etc. it is also polite to address strangers in this form especially if they are older than you, hope this helps if not feel free to ask more about this topic.

Vos is familiar 2nd person singular, like tú, and it is only used in Argentina and a few other small pockets of Latin America, where it is used instead of tú. Usted is the formal 2nd person singular, and it is used everywhere. Vosotros is familiar 2nd person plural, and used mostly in Spain. Most other places use ustedes for both formal and familiar 2nd person plural.
It's a replacement for tu, with its own conjugations, in some South American countries.
Vos is used in Argentina and other latin countries (not sure of which) and usted is more used in Spain and I think in Mexico too (not sure). I think using usted everyone can understand you. But remember that in Spain is very formal, just used it in formal written text and while you're talking with older people.
