It is amazing how often we get this question here. How to learn fast? By using lots of hours every day. The more, the better.

I agree with Lazarus on this one. Try to do as many exercises as you and try to incorporate it into your daily life :) - HotChickCD, Dec 11, 2010

Learning Spanish is easy. I think if you start the day with a breakfast burrito or quesadilla, then have a chalupa or taco for lunch, then some paella for dinner, you might just improve your Spanish. Watching or participating in salsa dancing might also help. (If you live in the state of New Mexico, this should be a lot easier.) Watching soccer on television will also assist. Watch a few Antonio Banderas or Benicio del Toro movies. That is how you can really pick up a new language. You definitely DO NOT have to work hard studying.

The fastest way is to be born in Spain.

How so? How old is a child before he can carry a conversation? - 0074b507, Dec 11, 2010
With his peers, not very old. - lorenzo9, Dec 11, 2010

It's Christmastime. Just wish for it. I'm sure that if you were good this year that Santa will bring it to you and when you wake up Christmas morning you will be speaking perfect Spanish.

Have a Spanish speaking mother. This worked really well for my husband.

If you weren't born to one, you could always adopt one. alt text

Yes! Sleeping with your head on top of your Spanish textbook will help! - JoyceM, Dec 11, 2010

You can't! English has come off our tongues for too long...Not only words, but the hardest part is keeping the context correct.. But it is a beautiful language and it will be life long learning. Good luck
