How to reply to "Qué has hecho hoy"?

Hi you are asked the questions in an oral examination setting "Qué has hecho hoy" is it better gramattically to respond using the "pretérito perfecto" due to the fact that we are talking about experiences related to the momemnt in which we are talking. From my understanding using the pretérito perfecto is the tense which is grammatically correct to use in this context? I know that native speakers probabaly would use a number of different tenses in the context but I want to know which one is grammatically correct. Finally if soemone could let me know if the sentences below are appropriate and correct that would be great. Thanks!

"Me he levantado a las ocho de la manana" "Esta manana he ido al gimnasio" "He cogido dos autobuses y dos trens" "He estudiado el trabajo que hice en la universisdad el ano pasado preparar por una entravista" "He tenido una entravista" "Ahora estoy aqui hablando contigo*

I am fairly confident that if you are asked something in the preterito perfecto form, you should confidently answer back in the same form, especially for a Spanish test.

We used this extensively in my Spanish classes in Spain. The teacher basically interviewed us every day, and we responded about our morning routine. This works both for what you have done today as it does for life experiences.

Have you had breakfast today? Have you ever been in a car accident?

As it is exam, it's better not to experiment and use the tense in which the question is tongue laugh And there's a rule that with such expression as hoy, esta semana, este mes... we use preterito perfecto

I could just answer in el pretérito or el presente perfecto.

"Yo fui a la cine." or "Yo he terminado mi tarea."

I think pretérito sounds better, but both work. I'm not sure as to whether pretérito perfecto would be right or wrong, though.

"Fui al cine" and "He terminado mi tarea". Those "YO" sound utterly ridiculous. - lazarus1907, Dec 11, 2010
The tense that you are calling presente perfecto he is calling pretérito perfecto...antepresente. Neither nomenclature is strictly correct. You point out the problem. To the English eye, Pretérito Perfecto looks like past perfect (pluscuamperfecto) - 0074b507, Dec 11, 2010
By the way, I like pretérito perfecto simple y pretérito perfecto compuesto to refer to the Preterite and the Present Perfect. Using pretérito indefinido and pretérito imperfecto for simple past is just as confusing. - 0074b507, Dec 11, 2010

'He estudiado el trabajo que hice en la universisdad el ano pasado preparar por una entravista'. In this sentence, ano should be año, entravista is not a word....I think the right word is entrevista. Also, you should put para before preparar. Please see this link, I'm sure it may be of use to you.

Thanks,

Seb.
