"Me despierto a las sies"

Question

I have to write three paragraphs describing my daily routine. I am not that good in spanish so i am not confident in my translation. HELP! Any corrections and/or tips to make this better.

"La Manana
Me despierto a las sies. Entonces, me lavanto y empiezo me dia. Primero me visto y lavo me cara. Entonces mi seco me cara y verso en el espejo. Yo tambien peiro y cepillarse mi dientes. Entonces yo maquillo y despido a mi padres.
El Dia
Yo llego a escuela. Yo entonces aburro durante la clase. Despues la clase yo hablo a mi amigas. Nosotros pelemos y me anojo con mi amigas. Me irso y sentio deprimido. Entonces, me canso y quiero ir a mi casa. Mas tarde nosotros perdonamos cada persona. En la fin, el dia es bueno.
La Noche
En la noche yo vengo a casa y como mi comida antes hago mi tarea. Cuando yo termino, me arreglo por acuesto. Yo visto en mi pijamas. Yo entonces, Cepillo mi dientes. Despues yo termino, yo salto en a cama. Yo experimento acostarse. Me duermo prequparse por la dia proximo."

Firstly, it is mañana with the tilde. A general tip that I would give you, for this piece of writing is try to extend your sentences, as you've just put together simple sentences. Bear in mind, that the text would be more interesting with a varied sentence structure.

A way of extending your sentences may be to talk about how your feeling whilst doing that particular action....so for I wake up, you could say, 'I normally wake up reluctantly' and maybe describe why. - Seb79, Dec 11, 2010

Me despierto a las seis. Entonces me levanto y empiezo mi día. Primero me visto y me lavo la cara. Después me seco la cara y me miro al espejo. Por último me peino, me cepillo los dientes, me maquillo y me despido de mis padres.

El día:

Llego a escuela, a veces me aburro durante la clase. Después de la clase hablo con mis amigas. Nos peleamos y me enfado con ellas, me voy y me siento deprimida. Entonces, me canso y quiero irme a mi casa. Más tarde nos perdonamos las unas a las otras. Al fin, el día es bueno.

La noche:

Por la noche llego a casa y como algo antes de hacer mi tarea. Cuando termino, me preparo para acostarme y me pongo el pijama. Entonces, me cepillo los dientes. Después de eso, me meto en la cama y me duermo pensando en el próximo día.

Llego a la escuela. Entonces estoy aburrida (guessing you're female?) durante la clase. Después de la clase hablo con mis amigas. Nos peleamos y me enojo/enfado (?) con mis amigas. Me voy y me siento deprimida. Entonces, me canso y quiero ir a mi casa. Más tarde nos perdonamos cada persona. En fin, el día resulta bueno.

La Noche

En la noche vengo a casa y como la comida antes de que hago la tarea. Cuando termino, me arreglo para acostarme. Me visto en pijama. Entonces, me cepillo los dientes. Cuando lo he terminado, salto en la cama. Intento a acostarme. Me duermo preocupada por el próximo día."

I have made some improvements, but please wait for a native/advanced speaker to check it if you want it perfected!.

Main problems were:

' Using 'yo' unecessarily.
'Trying to say 'my teeth' etc as we would in English...in Spanish I brush the teeth, etc, it applies to clothes as well as to body parts.

'Salto en la cama' - I guess you mean 'I jump into bed'? Not sure how to say this in Spanish, I think 'saltar en la cama' means 'jump on the bed!' like kids. Did you mean that?

When to use subject pronouns (such as Yo)

1. To avoid ambiguity: Context doesn't always make clear who the subject is, and some verb forms are ambiguous. Yo tenía un coche. I had a car. (Out of context, tenía could mean "I had," "you had," "he had" or "she had." If the context makes the subjects clear, the pronouns normally wouldn't be used.) Juan y María son alumnos. Él estudia mucho. John and Mary are students. He studies a lot. (Without the pronoun, it is impossible to tell whom the second sentence refers to.)

2. For emphasis: In English, unlike Spanish, we often use verbal stress to emphasize a pronoun. For example, if a strong emphasis is placed on the "I" in "I am going to the supermarket," the understood meaning of the sentence might be "I (and not somebody else) am going to the supermarket" or possibly "I am going to the supermarket (and I'm proud of myself)." In Spanish, one could similarly add an emphasis by using the grammatically unnecessary pronoun: Yo voy al supermercado. Similarly, haz tú lo que tú quieres could be understood as "you do what you want (and see if I care)."

And 3. Change of subject: When contrasting two subjects, the pronouns are frequently used. Yo estudio y él escucha el estéreo. I'm studying and he's listening to the stereo. Nosotros somos pobres, pero él es rico. We're poor, but he's rich. Note that in English you might use intonation — putting stress on "we're" and "he's" — to add emphasis. But such stress in Spanish would be unnecessary, as using the pronouns takes care of adding the emphasis.
