He got tired of complaining = he no longer wants to complain
He got tired from complaining = he complained so much that he got tired

It really depends on context and English prepositions make no sense--even English grammar experts argue over issues regarding prepositions and some disputes go back over 100 years.

El uso de preposiciones no es basado en la lógica. Las preposiciones deben ser memorizadas. Todos estos usos son correctos pero significan cosas diferentes: from the house, of the house, at the house, in the house, under the house, on the house, behind the house, etc. Cada palabra tiene seis definiciones en el diccionario a la cabeza de esta página.

Examples:

I am from England.

I am of English descent.

Yo soy de Inglaterra. Yo soy de ascendencia Inglés.

Is the Spanish ok?

It greatly depends on what precedes them. You need to be a bit more specific.
