¿Listo? ¿Estás listo? Are you ready. Similar to Vámonos. (Let's go).

(used with Ser it means clever)

"¿Tu listo?"

Somewhat odd but if you punctuate it "Tú, ¿listo?", then it makes sense. Thus the "Tú" is simply the attention getting direct address and grammatically independent of the central thought (¿listo?)

She is saying "listo" with a "tu" or a "su", asking "are you ready?".

Q asked in the comment below about the use of "listo" with "tu". I am almost certain it is on the videos, and I hear it at church almost every week. It may not be correct, but it is asked in the form of "¿Tu listo?". I asked one member what it meant a few years ago. He said it was a question asking "Are you ready?". It is used by members from Guatemaula and Mexico. Is this not a correct use of "listo"?

How is is used with a tu or su? Do you mean with está or estás? - 0074b507, Dec 9, 2010

With estar it means ready

estoy listo(a)....I am ready

With ser it means clever

soy listo(a)....I am clever

This is an adjective that you must be certain you use with the correct verb or you are conveying a completely different message.

typo
