can someone help me translate this line from a children's book. The story is about frog who is getting ready to go out. I can't find a translation for "patica". the line is "Puso un clavel en su gorrita y en su patica un cascabel". Thank you.

Patica is pata followed by -ica, a dimintuve simmilar to -ita.
