Actually, if you double click the word for a short definition you may only get a narrow answer.
Mis hermanos can mean either my siblings (brothers and sisters) or just my brothers. In Spanish you have to provide some additional explanation to distinguish between how many brothers (macho/varón) and how many sisters (hembra) that you have.
So the sentence that states: Tengo tres hermanos without any other context only tells us that you have 3 siblings and not how many are brothers or how many are sisters.
