What does "guranza" mean??

I hope someone can help me. I am translating a letter, but I have never seen this word and I cannot find it in the dictionary. The sentence is:

no veo justo el agua y el gas nos matan a uno que le dan al mes 600.00 a se guranza del carro viejo

Probably a typo. Granza mean madder.
