La anaconda verde es la serpiente más pesada y acaso la más larga del mundo. En Sudamérica esta bestia gigante es conocida como matatoro, lo cual significa: matador de toros. Se puede encontrarla en países sudamericanos que se ubican este de los Andes como Perú, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Brasil, Bolivia, Guyana así como la isla de Trinidad. La anaconda verde no mata sus víctimas con veneno, sino por sofocarlas con su cuerpo musculoso.

no es conocida- esta conocida For the se puede part, I don't think the reflexive se is need. Puede is fine by itself. But everything else looks good!

Why would you ever use esta in this case? It's not a reflexive se it is an impersonal say, which translates "one can..." - pescador1, Dec 8, 2010

Grammatically it seems sound, but I can't really comment on if it's written correctly from a stand point of colloquialisms and idioms, as I'm not familiar with how many of these phrases would be used if they're not translated directly.
