Como se dice "take time" ?

Por ejemplo quiero decir, "how long/how man hours does it take going there from here"

Hay que ser "cuantos horas hace/roba para ir alli ?"

Ayuda por favor !

It can be :

¿Cuánto tiempo te toma ir de el baño a tu recámara?

or

¿Cuánto tiempo haces de el baño a tu recámara?

The expression you are using is idiomatic in English and it would sound like nonsense in hundred of other languages if you translated it literally. In Spanish it is also idiomatic, so you just have to learn it:

¿Cuánto (tiempo) lleva (ir) desde aquí hasta ahí/allí? (allí being farther than ahí)

¿Cuánto se tarda desde aquí hasta ahí/allí?

Translation: (15) Having spent a certain period of time in one situation or place. (16) To have done or experienced a particular action, generally with the idea that the action is still ongoing, or it can continue.
