Is there a spanish equivalent to this phrase?
"She thought she could afford that car, but then she got a reality check?"
I'm sure I could say that lots of ways, but I was wondering if there is such a saying. Thanks...

I like "reality bath". I think I"ll use that expression from now on.

Hola...thanks for that. I also did a search and came up with choque con la realidad as well, which would be a little more strong I guess. Thanks for your help!

Hola Ashlita - well I checked the Phrasebook as I am sure you did, and since it is not there I did a search and came up with 'baño de realidad'. I'm not familiar with it but it sounds cool!
