"Y aun sera miero enderezarlas"
what does miero mean? Text is from the 16th century, about Jesuits in Scotland sending letters to Rome, during the reformation.

Hi Ewan, welcome to the Forum, I will answer this to bring it forward because I am interested. To me - I am thinking it is a spelling error 'miero' has me stumped - I'm thinking phonetically and all I could come up with was 'mejor'. Perhaps if you post a couple of sentences we could get context... With 'mejor' - 'and still it would be better to straighten (them out?) Can you post a bit more?
