Como se dice "to fall asleep"?

I know that to sleep is dormir but what is "to fall asleep" ?

I'm trying to say "I fell asleep in the car"

You could also use quedar 'me quedé dormida en el coche'

To fall asleep: dormirse. I fell asleep in the car: Me dormí en el coche.
