Most of her painting show national and indigenous tradition. Even though she was in agony due to her bad health during her life, she never lost humor. I had an opportunity to read Frida Kahlo's autography a few years ago. I did not like her life style in some ways. However, I do respect her passion for life. Also, there is no doubt that she is one of the most influential female painters. I like the movie because it really well portrayed Frida Kahlo's life and her works.
