Como se dice "I really feel like..."

Como se dice "I really feel like..."

Hi, I know that when you want to express a strong desire, the best way to say I "I feel like" is "Tengo ganas de..." (ie, tengo ganas de dejar mi trabajo). My question is, what is the best way to phrase I really feel like... Like, "I really feel like a beer." Is "tengo ganas del cerveza" sufficient? Thanks

First, the phrase would be "tengo ganas de tomar cerveza" or "tengo ganas de tomar una cerveza". If you really want it you can say "tengo muchas ganas de tomarme una cerveza", but there are other ways... for example:"Me urge dejar mi trabajo" implies the sense of "urgent" like if you really need to quit you job right now.

Like Miguel said "me muero por una cerveza" is another good example.

¡Salud!

"I really feel like a beer."

¡De veras, me siento como una cerveza!

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

That would be like saying "I really feel like I am a beer!"

But, then, one wonders how do beers feel? Cold / flat / foamy?

Hello izzydia,

I'm from Spain, I would say that "Tengo ganas de cerveza" could be fine, but if you want to express a stonger desire your could say "Me muero por una cerceza", which could be translated as "I would die for a beer"

I hope it helps you,

Miguel

I think you have to have an infinitive after de. Tengo ganas de tomar una cerveza muy fría o algo así.
