Can you write it down for me, please?

Can you write it down for me, please?

¿Puedes escribelo abajo para mí, por favor?

Is this correct? (According to the Google Translator, it is right...but I don't always trust the online translator).

Gracias!

I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but I was thinking maybe you could say "¿Puedes escribirmelo?"

Wouldn't that be ... Can you write it to me? - debdelafuente, Dec 3, 2010

According to my Spanish lessons, the verb for "to jot down" or "to write down" is 'anotar'.

So based on that I would say: '¿Lo puedes anotar para / por mí, por favor?'

I put para / por because I can't decide whether or not you write something down IN PLACE of someone or if it's as an act of generosity... I can't really say for sure but given the lack of context both could work possibly?
