Prayer, please
Hey my fellow Spanishdict.com users. I know how much we all love to revel in the Spanish language, but I have a different favor to ask.
Yesterday, one of my friends got into a car wreck and could possibly be paralyzed. Could you all say a little prayer for her family and the surgery that will be taking place in a couple of hours?
Her is more info about what occurred: http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/local_news/stories/2010/12/02/18-year-old-injured-in-crash.html
Thank you very much.

Kaitlyn's surgery did not go as well as hoped. She will be paralyzed from the waist down.
Thank you for all your prayers and continue to pray for her as she and her family adjust.
How sad for your friend and the family, I am so sorry. I will say a prayer for them.
Yes, I have prayed for your friend and will keep them in prayer but I have only just entered SpanishDict today so I was not previously aware of the situation.
I trust to God/jesus that they will be kept safe and make a full recovery in a realistic time.
How old is the person who was involved in the crash and what is their name? ![]()
Here's hoping that your friend pulls through and quickly at that. We can only image the grief and fear that her family and friends, including yourself, are going through at the moment. If it's any comfort at all, it's amazing how resilient the human body can be even under the most horrific circumstances.
I will do that and I hope everything turns out ok. That was an awful crash.
I have prayed for you both. My God bless you and your friend with her complete recovery.
I will keep your friend (and you) in my prayers.

Yes, I will pray.
So sorry to hear about this, Esperanza. Definitely including Kaitlyn, her family, you and all her are close to her in my prayers.
I praise God for preserving Kaitlyn's life and surrounding her with people who love her and are praying for her. Please keep us up to date on how she is doing, and let her know that she will have our continued prayers during her long time of recuperation and adjustment. Please tell her to fight, and fight hard, to make the very most of her life. All is not lost. Please give her a hug from me.
It so happens I am leaving this very moment for a Damma talk and meditation
with a Burmese monk "Sayadaw Kabaya" who always ends the session with a
transfer of merits from all those in attendance to whomsoever is in need,
this evening your friend will get all our merits and prayers.
You and your friend certainly have all the prayers from everyone here at SD.
Here is a little bit of hope: They are working now on ways of taking undifferentiated stem cells, and making them into nerve cells.
I definitely believe in the power of intention, positive thoughts and prayers. You, your friend and your families are in mine.
I am just now reading this thread and I had hoped her going from crital condition to serious was a good sign. I am so sorry and sad to hear the operation has not gone well. I'm stuned and in shock, so those closest to Kaitlyn must be besides themselves. My prayer is for courage and strength to all!
