spanish alphabets and their pronounciation

hey,

first thanks for everyone who is answering these questions. you guys are amazing.

second: i find it confusing to figure out the spanish alphabetes and their pronounciation, so do you know where i can find that with a sound that says the alphabet so i know how to say it myself....gracious....

Spanish only has one alphabet, like English. The alphabet, though, is full of letters. The word alphabet comes from the first two letters of the Greek alphabet, called alpha and beta.

Same in English. You-ve lost your the thorn, for example. See a history book to see these changes. In modern Spanish these changes are taken to make spelling easier (unlike other languages with a more "stable" alphabet) - lazarus1907, Dec 3, 2010

True,but changes like dropping ll and ch and the name for 'v' are a tad more recent. It is interesting that thorn and edth survive in relativity theory. - lorenzo9, Dec 3, 2010

use this URL to find a clickable alfabeto about 1/2 way down the page ----> alfabeto

Either of these methods sound out the alphabet for you to help you to learn better pronounciation.
