Questions with direct and indirect objects

How would you answer the following questions using indirect and direct object pronouns? 1.Le has dicho una mentira alguna vez a alguien? 2. Quien te traduce el vocabulario si no entiendes? 3. Que les exigen los maestros a ustedes?

It does not matter how you answer the questions. You just have to use indirect and direct pronouns. Thanks

  • ¿Le has dicho una mentira alguna vez a alguien?
  • ¿Quién te traduce el vocabulario si no entiendes?
  • ¿Qué les exigen los maestros a ustedes?

Don't forget the opening (anticipatory) question mark and the accent marks on interrogative pronouns.

Ejemplo:

¿Qué les leyeron los maestros a ustedes la semana pasada?

Los maestros nos leyeron un libro de cuentos cortos la semana pasada.

Is this a homework? It seems so.

Question (1) is a yes/no question, so the normal answer would be "sí" or "no", without any need for pronouns. Question (2) could be answer with a simple "Yo" (me), again, no object pronouns needed. Question (3) could be answered with a simple "Tareas", with non need for object pronouns.

The exercise looks pretty pointless, if you ask me.

The only point being to practice constructing sentences with the d.o. and i.d.o. pronouns. I practice scales on my guitar even though I'd never really play scales during an actual song. - KevinB, Dec 2, 2010
There are countless ways of practising object pronouns, and many of them are useful and they can used in a proper context. This exercise is like practising a scale while hearing a chord that doesn't match the scale. What's the point? - lazarus1907, Dec 2, 2010
I think that's called "jazz". Sorry. Music joke. - KevinB, Dec 2, 2010

Welcome to the forum. There's a lesson here on that very topic.
