I am not quite sure what it is you mean , but if you want to know how does one

take a "nap" which is a light sleep usualy taken during the daylight , well my tried and

tested method is to turn on the TV, never fails, I am in the land of nod in an

instant. Another method is to try reading " 100 tips to clean your home" that is

a ripper , go to the section on getting stains out of Carpets ,instant zuzzz. wink

Oh and welcome to the foro.

I think watching golf on TV is the best. Everyone whispers, and nothing really exciting ever happens. - KevinB, Dec 2, 2010

Two Advil PM and a cold beer will do you right,

Seriously, I've been practicing Transcendental Meditation since 1974. For the most part I find the whole cult movement wrapped around it a load of crap, but it is a good relaxation technique, despite the fact that I don't think anyone will ever really be able to levitate while meditating, nor that getting 1% of the population to meditate will cause world peace.

But it does calm the mind and stop the internal dialog to the point where, if you are tired and need a nap, it happens. And if you fall asleep while meditating it is one of the most restful naps you'll ever take. If you don't fall asleep it still does calm you down and refresh you. Don't pay them any money. Just google it and do it yourself. There's nothing special about it. It's like any other meditation based relaxation technique.

That was a line in a TV show here in the States - NCIS LA. "I was not sleeping, I was meditating. Oh, do you always snore when you're meditating?" - KevinB, Dec 2, 2010
